It snowed 5" the first part of March and the kids were out of school for two days (no snickering from those who don't live in the South). Since it snowed late in the year and days to choose for make up days were getting scarce, the school board decided to use two Saturdays as make up days. Kangaroo Girl was SO EXCITED to go to school today! She was up and rarin' to go at 6:30! Monkey Boy, not so much. Tim said, "They should have Saturday school more often, I wish she would be this excited every day about school!"
It's so quiet here now but as always, I have a list of things to get accomplished before I pick them up at 12. Then it's an indoor pool party this afternoon for one of Kangaroo Girl's classmates, then we'll go out to eat tonight.
